That does look good. I finished my cockpit using your plans a couple of months ago, and I think that glare shield was one of the hardest parts for me. When I cut the underside for the led lights, I could never get that to look right. I tried glue, staples, pins etc, but it would never hold together quite right. I ended up getting some thread and stitching it all the way across It looks ok now, but not as good as yours. I’m also finding that I am never really “finished”. I have been constantly updating scenery, airports and plugins, but it is as much fun as flying it. Lately I have just been using the stock XP B738 in my “Cessna” cockpit, and it works and looks surprisingly good. I can’t really get to the FMS, and I didn’t want to spend the money for a hardware GPS, so I bought the Reality XP GTN 750, and use it on one of the ipads running Duet Display, and it works great for about any airplane I fly (mostly the C172 that you modified and made available, the stock BE58, and the 737). Thanks for all your hard work keeping us updated.
Looks great, BFG!
Hoping to get back to finishing my cockpit someday soon. It’s been on hold with work and family obligations.
Hello BFG,
I was wondering if you help others who are having an issue or so with their cockpit building. I know I have a question or two???
Thanks in advance,
Frank
Fire away with an email, and please check and consider posting in the forums as well. Lots of experienced builders here.
