In an attempt to get better ocean and shoreline textures I decided to find the maximum mask width setting allowed by Ortho4xp. The answer is 512. And I find it produces very nice ocean and shoreline textures, extending the ortho photo some 1,500 feet offshore. See these screen caps from the Bahamas for the results.
