I modified the Cessna 172 following TBG example but not able to get the same results, see the image below, I’m having issue with the blue shade below the cowl. What im doing bad?

I noticed that blue shade as well when I tried to modify the latest build of the default 172. I suspect is has something to do with the 3D cockpit object. I went back to using my older modified C172 and things were fine. Maybe post a question to XP support and see what you hear, or see what someone on X-Plane.org has to say? For me the blue was where the side pillars used to be after I deleted them in Planemaker …

I sent a message to Randy at X-plane and like he always do, he answered as soon had the time to do it, 5 minutes later I had a response from X-plane, he refer to the art expert which also response in 5 minutes. WOW what a support. I did the recommended action below, changed the fuselage.obj to not filled and shade disappear.
“Looks like a prefill object. Check the objects in plane maker and see if any objects have ‘prefill’ checked. You’ll need to remove that object as well.
If that isn’t it, I’ll need to check the acf!

Awesome to know the answer to this. I’ve been using a .ACF file from one of the betas, which flies great but doesn’t have the latest updates on the default 172. Now with this I can fix it. Thanks again.
