I don’t use electronics that require arduino save the GNS 530, and it works flawlessly. I can say that most of the folks on here who have built their own gauges etc. use ArdSimX.

Great job. I am always impressed by what people can make on their own.

Corey, do a search on the main page. In the comments someone posted a software solution that allows you to configure joysticks and yokes where, in essence, the game (X-Plane) sees a virtual yoke as being plugged into the USB port to which you have mapped physical yoke controls. So, for example, you can have both real yoke X axes mapped to the virtual yoke’s X axis, which X-Plane then sees as one …

Hi. For the Bat / Alt I think that’s just the way it is with the 172. If they get out of kilter with each other I just flip them in the 3D cockpit. For the Avionics switch, there is a different command to use — “cross-tie.” It either has on / off options or a toggle (I don’t recall).

The tip of the Cessna prop has a color to it, and in the ambient night lighting it looks red. I don’t believe there is anything you can do about it other than use PlaneMaker to remove the prop itself.

You might download X-Organizer. It’s a great and free plugin that will order your scenery file for you and point out any conflicts. Every once in a while I need to order something by hand, but it’s very useful. It also will show you where you have mesh, ortho tiles, let’s you turn on / off plugins before you load, and more. It’s a great tool.

X-Plane, unlike P3D or FSX, will not read deflections from two sets of control simultaneously. I wrote a how-to on how I solved this here. Hope it helps. Works great for me.

2 amps per hub, yes? You need to allow for 500ma for each panel. Also go into your Windows device manager and ensure power management is OFF for each USB hub. Finally, yes, use a 2.0 port if you can. Saitek stuff doesn’t often like 3.0 ports. Finally, this may help: http://www.ontheglideslope.net/2016/04/22/power-to-the-hub/
